C. J.’s Early Life and Personal Struggles
C. J. Stroud was born on October 3, 2001 in Rancho Cucamonga. His life was not easy growing up.. When he was just 13 years old, his father, Coleridge Bernard, pleaded guilty to multiple felonies and was sentenced to 38 years in prison.
Her mother. Kimberly Stroud, worked at the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s department and raised 4 children as a single mom. She faced financial struggles and was employed as a property manager at multiple places to financially support her family. In 2023. She launched a charitable foundation, “CJ Stroud Foundation”, with her son and is now the president of it. Stroud has acknowledged and praised her sacrifices on the Red Carpet at the NFL draft.

C. J. attended a local high school in Rancho Cucamonga where he used to play as a quarterback in his school’s football team. He was a great player and dominated in the football field with his great accuracy and defence since then.
Stroud was a three-year starter during his highschool career. He led his team to a 23-9 record. In his senior year, he passed for 6,527 yards and 73 touchdowns. On April 27, 2023, Houston Texans selected Stroud with the second overall pick in the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft. His journey in the NFL is nothing short of spectacular. Stroud won hearts in the rookie season of the NFL in 2023 when he threw for 4,108 yards, 23 touchdowns, and 5 interceptions.
